I'm New
We are so glad that you have taken the time to visit our website and learn more about our church. We know that your first visit to any church comes with lots of questions, so we have tried to answer some of them here.
What to Expect Each Sunday
Grace offers two distinct worship expressions and experiences every Sunday morning. Our Traditions service is held at 9 am. Our Celebration service is held at 10:30 am. Nursery is available at both services. We offer Nursery during the 9:00 am Worship Service. Sunday school is held for Nursery through 6th grade during the Celebration service at 10:30 am. We have a brief time of Fellowship, with refreshments, between services, from at 10 am-10:30 am.
Before the Service
As you enter the church foyer, which we call The Gathering Place, you will be welcomed by one of our friendly "greeters." They will be able to answer questions and direct you to the Welcome Center and the Connection Wall where you will be able to receive more information about our church. A Place For Your Kids
At Grace we love kids! That's why we've made it a priority to provide high quality, high energy, and fun programs for children. Committed teachers come prepared to help kids worship God through singing, praying, Bible stories, memorizing scripture, and supporting one of Graces' missionary families, the Shackelfords, through our offering.
Stop at the Welcome Center and someone will direct you to the appropriate room for your child. There, a teacher, or volunteer, will greet you and assist you in registering your child for the morning's activities. During our Worship Services, we offer several classes for your child depending on their age.
We have a safe, clean, and well staffed Nursery for children 2 years and under, during both the 9 am and 10:30 am Sunday Worship Services. Parents receive pagers so that they can be contacted by the nursery attendants if the need arises.
At 10:30 am, during the second Worship Service, we have Toddlers, for children ages 2-3, non potty trained, (Pagers are also available for parents of toddlers); and Sonbeams, for children ages 3, 4, & preK 5's who are potty trained. Children in these classes begin to learn about, and experience God's love in their lives through stories, games and crafts designed just for them.
Sunday School, for those in kindergarten through grade 6, is held at 10:30 am, during the second Worship Service. Fun, Bible-centered classes, staffed with friendly, qualified teachers and helpers, is offered for this age group. For more information, visit our Children's Page.
A Place For Youth
Middle School and Senior High students, grades 7 through 12, are encouraged to attend one of the services.
For more information, visit our Youth Page.
During the Service
The musical aspect and expression of worship at Grace ranges from upbeat and celebratory to contemplative, depending on which service you attend. We always attempt to center the music around the message. Our Choir, Grace Notes Ensemble, and the Grace Worship Team and Band is a wonderful mix of talented musicians- guitarists, percussionist, pianist, keyboard player and vocalists. The message is based on the Bible, with strong, relevant and practical applications.
After the Service
Step out to The Gathering Place after Worship Service. Someone is available at the Welcome Center to answer questions if you have some. We also have information about our Grace ministries available at The Connection Wall, next to the Welcome Center.
